You could look into the Main/Error folder if a error report was created and post / upload it here, if you mean the ticker (you said "timer") you can refresh it with the 'U' -key.
- Does the entire programm freeze, or are you still able to move between slides, push buttons change the stroke rate .....?

This is the exact same problem that I have and posted about a few months ago. There is no data in the error log. You cannot do anything but close the tease and the tease viewer program.

Hmm, i will try to implement some more error log´s, its hard to locate the error aslong as i can´t reproduce it.
Some information which could help me:
-Does it happen every time?
-Print the slidelist and investigate on which image it stops working.
-Restart the slide with the same deck and look if it freezes on the same slide.
-Options, played any video/sound files,....
-Open the task manager and look how much memory the slideviewer takes, maybe it reserves to much, this would match the error description that it only freezes after some time. (There are java commands to increase the memory limit)
