Hello dear CTIzens,
This forum and the (reunited) community celebrates its 3th birthday today.

This also means that the next payment to keep the website up and the community running is getting closer. Don't worry, I can afford that! I do, however, invest a considerable amount of time in this project. And, since I wish to keep this place adfree - tbh I would hate ads on the page, I would like to hear your opinions about Patreon or other ways for a some financial support. The title says "Support CTI (2)", but I am not CTI, nor am I its representative - well, maybe a bit . My question to you is, would you support me, as a person, for giving this community a place and for my ongoing work on 0131's Teaseviewer and the CTI (2) system?

I know we are not as active as we could be, its is sometimes hard to keep people motivated when the topic is porn. On the other hand people always tend to come back sooner or later and most users just remain silent (but are still there). I will see if I can find ways to get some fresh blood in here.

1. Patreon
   My first choice would be a Patreon page where users could support CTI by donating money. Patreon offers a lot of options - Weekly, Monthly, per Update... - as well as ways to reward every supporter. What rewards could I offer? I would not want to exclude a part of the community from certain features, so any good ideas here are welcome !

   • I could grant access to some first class CTI 2 cards which require far more work than normal cards:

     Some people have a 'beta' fetish, which includes a taste for censored images like this one:
     
     I could train a neural network for image to image translation which is able to censor parts of your porn collection, maybe as a punishment or just the images which are displayed in the slideshow.

     Anyway training such a network is hard and requires thousands of images (censored / uncensored) to get good results.

   If you feel like Patreon is the right choice, which model - Weekly, Monthly, per Update... - would you suggest?
2. Cryptocurrencies
   Could also provide you and me an anonymous option.
3. Other
   Any other ideas?

First: I am a poor student, so I actually can't support you financially, but if I was able to I would.
Second: Patreon has love-hate relationship with 18+ subject matter funded through their platform. I don't think this will be a problem for us, for we are by definition a small group and won't draw too much attention to our self.
Third: If we'll go with Patreon (and I think we should), I believe putting it on "per Update" would be the better option. Gives you more motivation, let's us know that when you take our money we get something in return.

hey i might have an idea for cryptocurrency but i'm not sure if it is possible to implement it on the site. I know a site where you can create and do punishment lines that has a online miner "support page" where you can support them by mining in your browser (here is the link for said site and page https://writeforme.org/support.php ) the down side is that it is mining based on your CPU and not your GPU, and if i'm correct GPU is better then CPU for mining so it will not yield as much currency. The plus side is that everyone can just load up the page instead of downloading and setting up a miner and and possibly a wallet for it then to transfer to your/site's wallet. .....and i just realized that maybe the first part of my comment is useless cause i found the site from where the software is from >.<(oh well maybe it can function as a demonstration). the site is https://coinhive.com/. oh yeah and the miner allows you to tweak it's demand on your cpu if you wish to keep them low that's possible (which does mean less calculation but a lot lesser demand on your CPU if you want to do other stuff while mining)
although i'm slightly worried how good/bad it is to demand so much power/data of your CPU cores/threads for a long period of time, I have the feeling it's like an engine going max speed for several hours which i thing is not good for it either >_< but since i'm not an expert on this subject I have no idea if my worries are grounded on anything .. anyways i hope this helps and not made things complicated >_< ...a-and i will now stop rambling <.<

I would not mind paying monthly or per update via Patreon; weekly, however, I think is a bit too regular. I strongly suggest anonymous donations as well as single donations (through something like paypal?).

While I think it is completely fair to expect something in return for creating a card censoring implementations I would strongly suggest against placing it as a 'product' people can pay towards. I would prefer paying in a donation-wise fashion and keep you from feeling forced to produce something. P.s. I also think that any product donations do go towards should be available to the entire community. Perhaps at most with a week or a month or so delay.

Im currently setting up a patreon page an will open a new topic when done.
I think i will go with a monthly model, i would prefer a model per update but for legal reasons the patreon page will focus the CTI infrastucture in general which i provide.

Embedding mining scripts has a bad reputation, but your idea seems fair i doubt that many people will use it but maybe i can make a checkbox in the profile which is enabled by default.
So or so this requires me to do some research and extra work to get it working, i will maybe come back to it later.
