Re: Playing Cards
Just got back from vacation! TuathEicse, This is why I didn't want to go with a specific set of rules and wanted to focus more on a system for the cards themselves. There will never be a game we can make that will even remotely work for more than one player if the rules aren't EXTREMELY flexible or ...

Re: Playing Cards
As you've said, I prefer card effects going into play as they are used. Mostly because I prefer the idea of the game ending by making your opponent submit or orgasm to win. As for keeping track of cards and overlapping rules there are very simple options. --A set board size preventing too many cards...

Re: Playing Cards
Sorry everyone for my absence. Been really busy and about to go out of town. Thank you all again for your interest and help. As for what has been said so far I think TuathEicse's #2 option will probably work out best for the reasons stated despite it being a harder to design idea. It simply covers t...

Re: Playing Cards
That still suffers the same problem I just described. It doesn't work for everyone or have high level of customization I'm looking for. I want base cards to start, not a fully made game. A good example is your dislike of Challenge and Consequence type cards. For me I find them almost crucial where o...

Re: Playing Cards
WARNING! WALL OF TEXT! I want to start this post by thanking everyone so far who has shown interest and helped with this little project. Now I want to apologize to you all because I just realized that I have screwed this up from the get go and if I keep going with the ideas and layouts we've done so...

Re: Playing Cards
I love the card layout, though without an editor it would be more difficult than making standard CTI cards (for me at least). I'm going to make cards with this layout once I have the time to sit down and actually do it. Bonus points if anyone here could throw together a fast way to create/edit cards...

Re: Playing Cards
So just to make sure I'm getting the right idea of your lil' game here. Would this card be one you'd consider adding to your deck? (Asides from the imaging of course). krell1.png Not quite, Toy cards are meant to be the most straightforward card in the game. Each one quite literally represents a ph...

Re: Hajtos
I don't really have one favorite card, and for many cards I like the idea while the effect in a tease doesn't live up to the expectations. As for creating a new decks, I did it a few time, but the problem is that it takes hours to make one and that feels like turning my remaining free time into wor...

Re: Playing Cards
Lol hajtos, all of what you've said are thoughts I've had. It's one of the reasons I settled on focusing on making just the base rules and was planning originally on it just being a game for my wife and I. I simply figured I'd post it just in case some other people actually were interested. For my w...

Re: Playing Cards
We have enough quality CTI1 card creators as it is, unless you are making a CTI2 creator which would just be amazing and I would love to help with. My cards are basically standard CTI cards but with the mindset to use them as playing cards instead with custom card types. Basically this means making ...
