How can I add my own Cards into the Core Pack/ Edit the Core pack's pictures?
It should be possible for you to change the pictures. (I suppose by cards you talk about the pictures?)
Go to the a folder (inside the .jar) with pictures, for example: Teaseviewer.jar\Teaseviewer\Cards\CoreSet\Chance_To_Cum\Pictures
1. Now delete the image you want to replace
2. Add (drag & drop) a new image with the exact same name and extention into the folder.
->Done (just tested it and it works)
->Be sure the file you added replaces the old file and is not just renamed to "filename_01"
->Keep in mind that all Corse Set cards have more than one possible image which can change based on the user settings. For example each Core Set card uses a picture featuring homosexual content if you set your preferences to that.
Is is simpler to just add new cards to supplemental instead?
In any case to add new cards you need to create them first or have someone to create them for you.
If you have a compiled CTI 2 card + pictures all you need is to drag them into the .jar file (into the right folder) after that it is playable.
PS. how difficult would it be to learn to make CTI2 cards? In the code, if i could just see a "master template" for a working card, and understand what variables to change, I could get quite creative.
You would have access to the code of all CTI 2 cards.
It is plain Java code, if you have a bit expierience with Java it wont be that hard.
I posted a few (old and outdated) code examples here:
http://cti-community.net/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3
The easiest way to create new cards would be searching for an existing CTI 2 card or cards which already goes into your direction and copy + change the code to your needs.
Even i do most cards that way
If you are still interested add me on discord: #2628 or skype: number.0131
Finally be warned, the reason why i don't publish a CTI 2 card creator at this point is that i often add or change core functions of the CTI 2 system which could make old cards or cards from the community obsolete / non functional / outdated.
This could be very frustrating and confusing for your and the community.
