I have problems to fully understand your point, are you afraid that the software could spy on you? Or are you afraid that the software could start some unwanted function / cardeffect even if the function was disabled?
For the first issue, i can understand that, i would be very carefull myself to run software from someone i dont know.
I could post the source code if it helps to gain some trust, people could check the code and compare the hash value or even compile it by themself.
The second issue is very easy to avoid, cards aren't hardcoded if you dont like humiliation cards of this type and even having them in your software makes you paranoidal just remove them /don't add them to your collection.
